And it's spending millions of money for this.In 2017 this becomes fruitful. Today, Sunder Pichai's leading Google.inc has made significant progress in this regard. The Google I / O event is the witness. This happened from May 17 to 19. The computer has changed its own way from time to time. Previously we communicated through the keyboard, now touchscreen technology. But in the next few days we will talk to the machines by speaking and watching. Well, It's your virtual personal assistant which is can do two-way conversation i.e between you and software. Google announced it at 2016 developer conference, but it's more in 2017 Google I/O.

How it can get the data?

To get the data is not tough, but to get the relevant data really matter. Tech giants like Google, Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft doing it really well. Google-powered by the huge amount of data. it will collect the data from users through Android device, chrome engine, Google software's like Gmail, Google trip, Google arts, and culture, google earth, google maps, allo, duo. Google translate, YouTube. Google has a verity of the data source. it can predict your name before you enter it!!

How can it help you?

The assistant developed with a breakthrough conversational innovation in coding stuff. But it's more in 2017, now we can able to communicate with assistant through visuals. Now we can read Chinese names, we can get hotels menu etc. Yes, we can now avail the information about what we are looking at by just facing the camera to it. Not only this, it can help you with reminders, weather, News updates, Sports updates, Places nearby, Finance updates like stocks and shares, Nutrition, Dictionary, Calculating, language translation over 100 languages, Personal stuff like when is your next meeting?, etc, Travel plans.

Apart from this now we can do transactions for shops like Domino and others. Yes, now we can order Pizza with Google assistant. it's yummy....

How it can help for iphowners?

Yep, we have google assistant in iPhone too. not entire stuff but through allo, duo and other apps. we cannot do all the stuff like set alarm and call "ok, google" in sleep mode etc. , but we can do more stuff. it will work only on apps in iPhone. It looks strategic move to attract iPhone users. It might help Google to attract iPhone users towards Google products.

How it will help developers?

Now Google assistant SDK (Software developer kit) available for Developers. They can use it for their business needs. for example, you can build a juice machine with google assistant which gives the juice you ask for.

The technology behind the Google Assistant.

Coding evolution happens everytime. from manual entry to the touch screen, now touchscreen to visuals and voice etc. But to document it in coding is not at all an easy task. It needs a lot of effort with a lot of experience. It needs people who know the brains and nerves of coding. Such bunch of people works yielded a technology called Machine Learning, shortly ML. Representing data in a meaningful way is the hardest job ever in coding, But they did it. Now we have machines which can understand our voice and visuals better than us. Google voice hearing accuracy is more than us, it's 95.1%.  Google smart reply, Google home voice recognition, Image Recognition, Picture editor are the fruits of ML. 

Smart Reply: Yes, if you receive e-mail from your friends or colleagues. Gmail gives it's suggestions to your replies based on the email content. Google has achieved this through machine learning. Its smart reminders give us the most accurate answers to the e-mail that came to us.

Steve jobs made us stay away from desktops and turned interests on smartphones. Now we have voice-based machines which turn our interest towards voice inputs.

The power of google is Data. Compare to other products Google will get more customer personalized data. it helps Google to make customer friendly products.

If we look at Google task list:

Hands-free calling: Yes, we can now call to friends and family through voice. if you say "Ok Google, call mom", it will call you mom without call charges. here "Ok, Google" is the input that we are providing to Google at the beginning of the conversation. I have to mention this, Google home will accurately predict your voice, your family headcount and their voice, and it stores your relationship details. If you say "Ok Google, call mom" it's going to call your Mom, and if your daughter says, "Ok Google, call mom", its going to call you/your husband. so it will give you personalized experience to each and everyone in your family.

Google Answers: Weather, Traffic, Finance, Sports, Local Business, Translation, Music, Calculator, News, Nutrition adviser, products, radio, cooking, blue-tooth device control, Sports, TV streaming, Unit conversion and many more answers available on google home.

Google lens: Google has made great progress in a photo editor and is now gaining momentum to achieve another significant breakthrough. As shown in the left image, we can remove any material that we do not like in the clicked photo. it's a mirror to Google's intelligence.

Google Photo's: Customers have responded well to Google's efforts to provide better photo and battery life services than all existing mobile phones through Google Pixel Mobile. And we can upload unlimited photos to Google Photos. Additionally, the optimal photo selections are also automated in Google Photos.If we click thousands of photos, it will select the best photos in it and save as a photo book. Also, Suggested Share and Shared Libraries help you to share nice photos that you clicked.Google Lens Technology connecting to Google Photos, Google Photos will give you more information on the location of the photo you clicked on and its specifications.

Android already entered 60 countries with nearly 82 Billion apps and games downloads. This is just because it is more user-friendly and more helpful for users too. There were more users for android in India than the US. To help them with conversations G board has 191 languages among them more than 20 languages from India.

Android Owe: Android is rethinking about the update. Not only getting new features into smartphones, but it's also looking at how apps performing with smartphone hardware and even looking whether the app is safe?. I think it's very significant move for providing better service to customers with old smartphones/smartphones with low configurations i.e smartphones between 512MB to 1GB RAM.

Android is mainly working on two important things:

* Fluid experience

* Vitals

Fluid experience : 

To achieve ease of smartphone usage, I think this is a better way. Yes, now we can watch YouTube/Netflix/Hotstar and send whatsapp/Gmail/hike/snapchat text to friends at a time. Google called this Picture to Picture.

The notification numbers on the corner of the app icon do not look good, so it has been replaced by a dot to look better. as you can see in left pic Instagram icon. Google called it Notification dot. and by long press on the icon, we can look into notification previews.

Auto-fill in Chrome, now we can login to any account without entering username and password in any Chrome devices. if we purchase a new smartphone and log in with google account, enough all other logins like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc if we open app or portal in Chrome will automatically detect your username and passwords.

Smart text solutions now you can tap to address/phone number/Email to select. you don't need to tap and drag, just tap is enough.

Vitals : 

Google play project is going to filter harmful apps and provide better apps suggestions to your smartphone. But virus may enter your smartphone through the internet, so we still need an anti-virus for complete protection.

As I said earlier, there is more announcements done in OS optimization, it made boot time faster than previous in pixel smartphones, data drain does not happen because of background apps like before.

How they are going to operate apps to make it better?

Yes, even after app release we can make it better with further steps, Google helping developers in these stuff, Google announced Play console dashboards to pinpoint top issues like battery drain, crashes and slow UI. also it will analyze how many customers affected and what we can do for it. also, Android studio profilers is new unified profiles for Memory, GPU, and CPU. where we can monitor every possible way to solve customer problems at a couple of screens. Apart from it Kotlin become the official programming language for Android.

Through Android Go it's trying to consume less data for users, by announcing Data saver google saving 750TB data every day. also, YouTube Go coming with offline share where we can share our saved videos on YouTube to friends without data consumption.

Day Dream

Sitting in front of PC and playing games with Joysticks will not work anymore. Daydream is going to change the view of the Games. In near future, gaming will be more exciting and realistic with virtual reality & argument reality together. Google developing Daydream not only for gaming but to View streets and look at virtual things(Imagined the world). It's coming with Galaxy S8 inbuilt.

In 2017, Google with Qualcomm, HTC Vive, and Lenovo designing Daydream further. It's working on making it more user-friendly in other words Stand-alone headsets i.e it should be Wireless, Smartphone less and PC less.

Also, Google working on Tango from 2013 to understand space better, it's shipping Asus Tango smartphone in 2017 with more features.It's also working with google maps to locate objects more accurately. Instead of GPU Google introducing VPU (Visual positioning services) to locate objects inside any buildings/malls etc.

Google with Expeditions reached 2 Million students and changing the way of learning.

 In addition, Google is innovative in the fields such as Biology, Chemistry and Job Search.
