Microsoft Build the Virtual Home!

Microsoft Mixed Reality Demo, San Francisco Oct'17

     The windows who already won the heart of car makers made its next move to replace the PCs. It is a creative way of looking at windows applications. Windows 10 which build for mixed reality from the ground up has been working well with the MR headset. Samsung built the device with Microsoft software design.

      There was a demo already shown in Microsoft ignite event this year from ford about how the headset helping them to design cars. The event started with the video of fords opinion on Halolens. Now, the organization is moving forward to create multi-dimensional VR home for everybody.

     The device costs $ 499 cheaper than Oculus and HTC Vive. It contains a headset with a couple of controllers. It built with the most advanced technologies like Artificial intelligence and Virtual Reality. The sense of gesture and response to your queries are cool. The graphics designed to immerse everyone with the beautiful software construction.

     Even though MS said it might replace the PCs, I think it is difficult to manage a long time with the headsets. 8 hours with a headset looks not so good for eyes. Even though graphically designed to enjoy, it might have an impact on vision. Hope Microsoft analyzed these things as well.

     The people who want more entertainment and fun might like it very much. Also, it will be a great experience in watching movies and playing games. The applications of Windows store appears like pasted on different walls and classified the rooms. At the entrance we have a basket with Windows logo looks like Windows Store.

     The room dedicated to the entertainment filled with Movies, Games, Music apps. Tweets, Facebook feeds, Instagram photos posted on the walls of the other room which just appears like social media room!. Just imagine you are sitting on the sofa and looking into posts and tweets on the big screen. The Movie screen expected 30 inches in measurement!.

     Moving further it added one more surprise!. The Social Altspace virtual reality, where we can chat with the virtual and 3D characters of our friends and family who were speaking at their place. This almost resembled the discussion between people who were in different place in fords demo.

     The technology expanded further to gather more people. We can express our emotions about the discussions (happening through VR) through emoji's which pop up over the head and fly to high in the view. We can look into the Powerpoint presentations which make our discussions more meaningful and we can expect MS to add further analytical tools like Excel and Power BI in near future.

     Overall Microsoft built an incredible tool for Education and Entertainment. Hope most people will get wowing experience with it. It brings an unexpected joy to the home and kids just love it. We must look forward about how customers work with it!
