General Instructions for Students
i) The Question-cum-Answer Booklet consists of 46 objective and subjective types of questions.
ii) Space has been provided against each objective type question. You have to choose the correct choice and write the complete answer along with its letter in the space provided.
iii) For subjective type questions enough space for each question has been provided. You have to answer the questions in the space.
iv) Follow the instructions given against both the objective and subjective types of questions.
v) Candidate should not write the answer with a pencil. Answers written in pencil will not be evaluated.
vi) In the case of Multiple Choice, Fill in the blanks and Matching questions, scratching / rewriting / marking is not permitted, thereby rendering them to disqualification for evaluation.
vii) 15 minutes of extra time has been provided for reading the question paper.
viii) Do not write anything in the space provided in the right side margin.
General Instructions for evaluators:
1. For extracts, if the student answers in a word or phrase give him/her full marks.
2. For short answer questions, if the student writes two points correctly award
him/her 112
marks. If his/her language is good, give him/her 12
mark. Even if there
is one or two spelling or punctuation mistakes don't deduct marks, because we are
testing comprehension.
3. For long answer questions and composition, if the student writes the required
points award him / her 3 marks. If the language is good, award him/her full
marks. If he/she writes the required points and language is incorrect award
him / her only 3 marks.
