Neuralink Wants to Speed Up Brain Output

Is it really possible to download our brain's complete information into a device? Is machines are going to become our concept of aliens in the future?. We have to wait and watch.

     Well, the story starts with the concept of AI. Elon Musk the successful entrepreneur who founded Tesla, Paypal, SpaceX, Zip2 and The boring company.  The organizations started from him is unique of its kind. SpaceX aims to establish Mars colony (A colony in the Mars Planet!) which is mentioned in Vance biography.

     Almost every organization that Mr. Musk started will work with electrical energy. Tesla produces electric cars, Hyperloop which is a unique transportation system, SolarCity which is the second largest provider of electricity in the US. The working attitude looks always for "better future or not bad future".

Neuralink

     So the path of Elon Musk is always following permanent solutions for the basic problems. Now he wants to build the great connection between a machine and human. About Neuralink he commented in an interview that "Humans input is very fast because of vision but the output is extremely slow". He said further like Input is in terabytes but the output is in few bytes per second.

     So these words say the concept of Neuralink. He wants to build a device which improves our response to the external stimulus. It seems a real issue but we have to dig deeper into it. Many of us know that Einstein used only 13% of the brain and normal people use only 1-2% of it. So if Neuralink succeeded then it will be a great solution to our brain activity!.

     Psychology says the brain is an input-output system which is functionally organized and which acts based on the feed back collected in the brain. Also, there are undiscovered things about brain like how information is coded in Neural activity? how are memories stored and retrieved? etc.

Eastern Ideas about brain

     Vivekananda an Indian mystic, says an important point about the brain that "If matter and its transformations answer for all that we have, there is no necessity for supposing the existence of a soul. But it cannot be proved that thought has been evolved out of matter".

     When they said "thought" it is different than what we think. Our selection based on marketing, we always wants to choose the best. When Vivekananda says thought, there is a huge difference between the basic thinking process of us and them. I read in a book that people use same words with different meanings. Same situation with the word thought!.

Bottom Line

     Nowadays humans especially in developed countries acts just like machines. There whole heart and soul was reduced to do the same activity every day. Few people choose the profession that they want, few follow corporate trends and for few it's a cherry on the cake!. Regular tasks and lack of breaks in professional life made people robotic.

     Psychological facts says that if we decoded the neural activity then we can be successful in downloading our brain activity. Eastern concepts says that even though we downloaded the brain's information it is just a concept of matter there will be no linkage between matter and soul.
